Chance ran his fingers through his hair as he filled out more paperwork. Being extremely intelligent why did he have to be so stupid. What made him think that was a good idea? Damn he was stupid. He shook his head 'stop it, just continue taking notes, continue with your paperwork and don't tick off the boss again. You may be the most intelligent one here but that doesn't mean they can't fire you' he thought to himself.

Lucas was watching Chance closely. He sighed and jumped up and down on his bed again. Despite being told over and over not to. "Chancey I am borea" he whined and tapped at the glass. His powers didn't work in the box.

Chance looked over to Lucas and shook his head "Lucas, Stop jumping on the bed. We don't want you getting hurt. And why do you call me that?" he asked softly.

Lucas sighed and jumped off and paced around the room. "Because I can, Chancey Chancey Chancey!" He called skipping.

Chance sighed, rolling his eyes though watching Lucas he couldn't help but smirk. "Lucas, what is it you want to do?" he asked

Lucas stopped and shrugged "I want to get out I this hell hole" he whined and sighed.

Chance got up and came over to the box "you know I can't do that Lucas. You know I also wish I could."

chance shook his head "I'm not Lucas. I'm trying to help people. It was never my choice to put you in here." he said and went back to sitting in his chair doing paperwork.

Lucas kicked th glass then laid down on his bedclappiling the lights in his cube turning off.

Chance rolled his eyes and continued scribbling down notes. he ended up getting frustated and scribbling random lines without realizing it. He shook his head and put the clipboard down and ran his fingers through his hair, taking deep breathes. He hadn't slept in a almost two week and it was getting to him majorly.

Lucas moved in his bed and sighed gettin up. He went to the counter and took his contacts out his eyes a owing purple color. He mumbled something I. Irish and the. Walked to his drawers.

Chance sighed and laid his head back, "i'm doomed, I'm doomed, i'm doomed." he kept repeating quietly.

He stripped down and then pulled boxers on and sweat pants. He sighed and laid back.

"Lucas. I really am sorry. There is nothing I can do, but that doesn't mean Idont want to release all of you." Chance said softly. "If Iknew how id risk my job even further to release you if not everyone."

Lucas shook his head an pulled the blanket sober him.

Chance sighed and said "sleep well." Softly before he turned all the lights off

He grumbled something and went into another restless sleep.

Chance watched the shape in the dark that he knew was Lucas.

Lucas had not seen what he looked like since he had for his per icings when he was 16. It is forbidden but it was his sixteenth birthday present. He sighed and pulled his sketch pad out.

Chance watched him, amused. He was always interested in Lucas's drawing. the kid was good, he had to admit that.
