"This May hurt some alright but you need to ignore it and think positively or it won't work" he said and started a machine.

yami looked scared now, not because of the pain but because he didn't kow how to think positively. Yami gritted his teeth as the pain started. Marik started talking to him though, despite the pain and told him about the fact he'd be able to get his own life, he'd find love, he could go on adventures he could see the world. Marik's voice faded but yami kept thinking about all the things he could do by himself, curling his fists up as the pain continued.

Yami hadn't started to move yet he seemed to be adjusting inwardly.
