Caleb smiled happily "he's great. He says he wants to be a firefighter when he grows up, he's excited about learning to drive when he's older and he thinks i'm a hero."

caleb shook hishead and kissed her cheek "im no hero. im a criminal, youre the hero, you saved me, its never been the other way around. but firefighter, yea its dangerous, a selfless choice, but who knows if he'll stick to that when he's older."

caleb shook his head "its not selfish. firefighters are always at risk and you, and i both, dont want to worry about him everyday. but if he still sticks with it, he does. if he changes he changes." he shrugged and kissed her gently.
