It was only a couple minutes before Alec was standing in the doorway to the bedroom. "D-Daniel." he started, crying still, his second bottle of whiskey in his hand. "Do you hate me?"

Daniel blinked and looked Over to him and then down at the bottle. He le out a chocked sob and his his face again. "Make it stop" he whispered.

Alec was standing on a bridge over the large river that ran through town. He stepped out onto the edge and out onto one of the narrow beams that stuck out. He looked down and watched the water rushing by.
