Seth purred gently but his voice and throat cracked and he used his elbow to cover his mouth as he coughed a few times.
Alec still seemed concerned because Seth had always hid in his and magnus's room as he shifted so he had no idea what it was like for Seth to change genders.

Seth slowly stopped, taking deep breathes. He slowly looked back to him and smiled gently "I'm-" they covered their mouth when their voice came out significantly higher. "I-I'm okay..." they said quietly, glancing away.
