Alec heard him sigh and he quickly backed away from him. He knew why Daniel wasn't happy and he knew it was his fault. He closed the door and moved away and leaned on the trunk of the car, hiding his face in his hands.

Alec started shaking as he cried and Ace came over and hugged him close. Alec had explained the situation to him and he knew why Alec felt horrible about it. He knew why Alec couldn't stop, even for a second where it wasn't relevant, blaming himself.
