Jess skipped around the kitchen as she made stir fry.

Ash came in and smiled softly"are you really happy or do you just like skipping?"

"I really like skipping" jess said siftly cheeks heating up before she moved and flattened her dress.

Jess smiled "You didn't have to stop." she said softly

Jess blushed "ash has you ever thought of being with a guy?" She asked softly as she stored the chicken.

Ash looked at her "Not really. I've always thought it'd be easier, like claiming to be straight would make certain aspects in life easier. but I never thought about actually doing it. Why?"

"No reason" Jess said softly and looked at the chicken adding the vegetables.

Ash nodded and asked "is there anything I can do to help?"

"I-um want to get drinks and plays and silver ware?" He asked gebtlg smiling.

Ash nodded and got the plates and silverware, setting them out

He's dumped the stir fry in a large bowl and carried it to the table with shaky hands.

Ash looked at her worried "Jess? Are you okay?"

"Ash I am gender fluid" she said quietly glancing to her.

Ash smiled gently "I've noticed." she said softly. "But that doesn't make you any less attractive to me, if that's what you're worried about."

Jess looked at her and bit his lip "I-I just know you don't like guys and I really really like you in tons and tons of ways and I don't want you to be grossed out when I am jasper"

Ash smiled and looked at her "Jess, it's not personalities of guys I don't like, I just cant stand the idea of their genitalia meeting mine. If guys didn't have penises I'd like a lot of guys." she came over and toke her hand gently "I'll like you no matter what. When you're more masculine and jasper like or more feminine and Jess like. I like either. Honestly, you could realize today that you're transgender and want to live as a male and even transition and I would still be with you." she said and smiled at her gently, her cheeks turning pink. "If you would allow me to stay that is"

Jess started to cry holding onto her and pressed into her neck. Jess took deep breaths and rubbed her eyes moving back. "Thank you for understanding" she whispered taking deep breaths.

Ash smiled and said "Don't thank me, I didn't do anything special." she leaned over and kissed her cheek gently.

Jess sniffled and nodded going to sit down at the table.
